International Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine Day – 13th November!
Monday, November 13th 2023, we celebrate for the first time the International Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine Day around the world. This is a global healthcare event that will be observed every year. We count on your help to celebrate it, make it known in your local community and highlight Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine goals and achievements.
It was on this day, 24 years ago, in 1999, that the International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (ISPRM) was born, as result of the merger of the International Rehabilitation Medicine Association (IRMA) and the International Federation of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (IFPMR). By instituting this date, we honor, first of all, our Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine pioneers that bravely set up the foundations of the most important medical organization concerning international rehabilitation medicine.
